- The SpinLord Mantikor is a more variable version of the SpinLord Waran.
The pimple geometry is the same, but the pimples are arranged vertically instead of horizontally. This increases the speed and makes sense, as the rubber mixture is a little slower, but more elastic and spin-friendly.
The sponge is also the same as the Waran. So it is still a fairly soft sponge (hardness around 40 degrees).
Overall, the Mantikor is not slower than the Waran, maybe even a little faster. It is also more variable to play and can generate significantly more rotation, even if it is not a short pimple with maximum effect like the SpinLord Degu. Its strengths lie primarily in precise and powerful counterattacks and blocks with hard final blows.
The Mantikor is even more dangerous for the opponent than the Waran, but also a little more challenging to play. However, the disruptive effect does not reach the values of the most dangerous short pimples like the SpinLord Nashorn.
