The Defender from the French manufacturer mambablades has a very interesting veneer structure. The French developers chose a balsa, balsa and koto combination for the five-layer blade. The result of this structure is clear: extreme lightness coupled with an incredibly high level of control in every game situation.

In our opinion, the Defender is suitable for the classic defense player who wants to force the opponent to make mistakes through a high level of control and maximum spin changes. The blade harmonizes equally with anti-topspin rubbers and long pimples and offers good control with very flat trajectories. Thanks to the enormous spin development, counterattacks cannot be played very quickly, but can be played with maximum rotation.
