The Ruiba is a 5+2 offensive blade. The blade combines five premium wood veneers as well as two carbon plies. The exterior veneers are very thin and contain the two carbon plies. The idea was to combine the advantages of solid wood blades with those of carbon blades.
While lots of carbon blades are often hard, direct and lack control for the ball, the Ruiba provides a different, unique experience. The blade combines speed, control and remarkable spin development in an unprecedented way.
Players who use rotation-rich topspin strokes from mid-distance and seek more speed will enjoy this blade.
The blade enables effortless spin-play and provides high control when serving and returning. Despite the weight of slightly more than 90g, the Ruiba is perfectly balanced and not too nose-heavy. Hence, the blade feels lighter than it is and can therefore be combined with heavier rubbers.
