- The sponge is available in 3 degrees of hardness:
- 39-41 degrees orange sponge - the sponge of the Drunken Dragon 40+.
The upper rubber of this rubber is slightly sticky, very soft and extremely elastic. In the last two points "The Way" surpasses the other pads (not only) of Palio clearly, although the degree of hardness of the top rubber course ultimately a matter of taste.
In any case, quality and durability are significantly better than with the lower-priced Palio coverings, such as the Palio CJ 8000 spin.
The sponge is available in 3 degrees of hardness:
36-38 degree yellow sponge - similar, but a bit softer and faster sponge than the Palio CJ 8000 Premium.
39-41 degrees orange sponge - the sponge of the Drunken Dragon 40+.
42-44 degrees red sponge - the sponge of AK 47 red, slightly softer failing.
The yellow and orange versions are almost equally fast, the red version is slightly faster than the other two versions.
'' The Way '' is a rubber for the topspin dynamic and just the right rubber for all players looking for a very grippy surface with a strong built-in speed glue effect.
'' The Way '' is not as sticky as many other pads from China, but it can still generate a lot of rotation due to the very long ball contact time. The increased ball contact time also allows significantly higher control values than usual in this tempo class.
The playing behavior of "The Way" is not quite as European as the new Palio AK 47 series, but is still ideal for players with long arm movements.
A plus point is certainly synonymous, even in the softest version of block and counter balls are very possible, as is usually the case with harder China coverings. For attacks with short arm movements, other rubbers with harder top rubber are better.
The weight of this rubber is in the middle range.
