- Dr. Neubauer Rubber Explosion Extreme - the latest addition to our EXPLOSION short pimple series.
This new version still provides a very good compromise between control, attacking possibilities and disruptive effect. However EXPLOSION EXTREME is decisively faster thanks to a new innovative sponge which enables the player to get more speed into the ball while counter-attacking and hitting. Moreover the disruptive effect was further enhanced while blocking and hitting, resulting in an even lower bounce and noticeably more mistakes by your opponent.
Control is still on a high level, ensuring that all classic short pimple techniques can be performed easily. The best compromise between control and disruptive effect is obtained with thinner sponge (1.3/1.5/1.8mm). The thicker sponge versions make the rubber faster, but with a bit less disruptive effect.
The rubber comes with a layer of glue. Please put an additional thin layer of water based table tennis glue onto the sponge and a normal layer of water based glue on the blade. Let it dry for 10-15 minutes. Finally simply roll the rubber carefully onto the blade and cut around it.
