- The Bluestar A2 is a softer version of the Bluestar A1 rubber.
Now the high-quality DONIC rubber gets company. The BLUESTAR A2 and the BLUESTAR A3 are alternatives for all active players who find the sponge of the BLUESTAR A1 with 52.5° too hard or prefer a slightly softer sponge hardness.
The new models are offered with sponge hardnesses of 50° (BLUESTAR A2) and 47.5° (BLUESTAR A3). Of course, these versions also use the technology that is crucial for the BLUESTAR and makes the small-pored sponge so special: Optimized Energy Sponge (OPTE) sets standards in terms of elasticity and damping level.
Development, production and processing of the BLUESTAR meet the highest standards, not for nothing this is the rubber par excellence. Now also offered with slightly softer sponge hardness, which is optimal for the vast majority of players below the professional level.
The Bluestar A2 is a softer version of the Bluestar A1 rubber. Sponge hardness of the A2 goes down from 52.5' (A1) to 50' (A2) giving it more dwell time and making it less fast and less "throwing". The sponge is equipped with small pores and makes Bluestar different from all other Donic rubbers. A grippy top-sheet makes it possible to control the trajectory of strokes well. Perfect rubber for players who rely on feeling but need additional power for the winning shot. A perfect rubber for aggressive play with a degree of feeling, that demands practice to be able to use.
